Is my device compatible?

Most phones from iPhone XS, Google Pixel 3 and Samsung Galaxy S20 onward support eSIM. Check your settings for an “Add eSIM” option. Your device also needs to be carrier-unlocked.

Do I keep my normal phone number?

Yes. The eSIM is a data-only plan running alongside your existing SIM, so your usual number for calls and texts stays active — only mobile data runs over the eSIM.

Do I need a new eSIM for every trip?

Just buy a plan for your destination. Many of our eSIMs can also be topped up, so you can reuse the same eSIM next time.

How do I activate my eSIM?

After purchase you instantly receive a QR code by email and in your account. Scan it under “Settings → Mobile data → Add eSIM”. You’ll be online in about two minutes.

When should I install the eSIM?

Install it before you travel, over Wi-Fi. The validity usually starts when the eSIM connects to a network at your destination — not when you scan the QR code.

The QR code won’t scan — what now?

You can set it up manually: your account and confirmation email include the activation details (SM-DP+ address and activation code) to copy. Make sure you’re connected to Wi-Fi.

Do I need to change anything at my destination?

Turn on data roaming for the eSIM (free within your purchased plan) and select the eSIM as your mobile-data line. A step-by-step guide is included with every order.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Pay securely by credit card (Visa, Mastercard), Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payments are processed encrypted via Stripe.

Can I top up my data?

For many plans, yes. When your data runs low you can top up compatible eSIMs directly, without installing a new eSIM.

Do I get an invoice?

Yes, you receive your invoice automatically by email. You can also find every order anytime in your account under “Orders”.

Can I use a mobile hotspot (tethering)?

In most countries and plans tethering is supported, so you can share data with other devices. Any limits are noted on the specific plan.

What happens when my data runs out?

The connection simply stops — there are no surprise overage charges. You can then buy a new plan or, where supported, top up your eSIM.
